How do you keep your kids from meeting dangerous strangers online? It happened to a 13-yeas old in Connecticut, allegedly killed by a man she met in a chat room.

29 million teenagers are online, many in chat rooms, where Internet watchdogs say a surprising number of virtual conversations lead to real-life meeting.

"Based upon surveys we've conducted, 12% of the teens in the United States who are using the Internet are actually meeting Internet strangers offline."

How easy is it to connect? Detective Andre Banks Sr. of Union County, New Jersey's high-tech task force shows us, posing as a 14-years old girl in a romance chat room.

"Your screen is filled with messages. Is this unusual?"

"No, it's not. This is actually pretty, pretty light, actually."

"아니요. 그렇지 않습니다. 이정도면 별로 많이 안 온거예요. 사실."

Within ten minutes, eight contacts. Each conversation quickly turns to sex.

10분안에 8명이 연락해 왔으며, 재빠르게 대화의 주제는 성관계로 바뀌었다.
